Frequently Asked Questions

Is CBD legal in the UK?

The law in the UK, passed in January 2017, says you can buy and use CBD product derived from hemp which it contains less than 0.3% THC and which is then purified to contain less than 1mg per dose. Our Mummy Gummies are 100% legal.

How much CBD shall I take?

We recommend that you start low and slow with just 1-2 gummies to begin with and recommend that you don’t exceed our daily dose of 2-3 gummies a day but as explained below you cannot overdose so it depends on every individual.

When is the best time of day to take your gummies?

Depending on why you are taking CBD gummies we would recommend to either take once you wake up to help with your day ahead or late at night to help you sleep.

Where do you source your CBD from?

We source our CBD from a Fair Trade Hemp Farm in Oregon. These are licenced farms who adhere to strict regulations and provide some of the finest soil to grow organic, clean hemp.

Is CBD Safe?

CBD is considered exceptionally safe. We manufacture to extremely high standards and you can check all our Lab reports to verify this. We do advise if you have never used CBD before to always start small and work your way up. Furthermore, if you are already taking any form of medication, consult your doctor or healthcare professional beforehand.

Are there any side effects?

Side effects are extremely rare and mild if encountered. Taking too much CBD too quickly may make you feel a little tired or give you loose bowels. If this happens take a little less for a while to allow your body to adjust to the CBD.

Can you take when pregnant or breastfeeding?

Whilst many people have or do take cannabinoids during pregnancy, we advise that you DO NOT take CBD whilst pregnant to be on the safe side.

Will CBD get me high?

In our CBD there is less than 0.3% of THC levels if any at all so you don’t receive any of its psychoactive effects.

Are all CBD products the same?

No, CBD products can be full-spectrum, broad spectrum or isolate. Full- spectrum contains small amounts of all components of the cannabis plant including trace amounts of THC. Broad-spectrum contains no THC but it does have other components of the CBD plant, while CBD isolate is pure CBD. Mummy Gummies are broad spectrum edibles.

Can you overdose on CBD?

No, it’s not possible to overdose on CBD because your body already naturally produces endocannabinoids through its Endocannabinoid System. The use of CBD products actually imitates our own endocannabinoids, thus enhancing their effects.

Will I fail a drug test?

You won’t ever fail a drugs test as our product is broad-spectrum and contains zero THC with lab reports to back this up.

Will CBD help me?

Although not designated by the FDA as a health product, numerous studies have shown CBD’s various health benefits. See our Instagram story feeds for different conditions and how CBD can help. There is also a wealth of research available online. However, we do not make any specific health claims about our products. As with any supplement, please consult your doctor before use.

Are Mummy Gummies suitable for Vegans?

Yes, both flavours are perfectly suitable for Vegans.

Are Mummy Gummies Gluten Free?

Mummy Gummies contain Wheat Starch. It is a specially produced ingredient where the gluten has been removed to a trace level. It is used by some manufacturers to improve the quality and texture of gluten free products. Wheat Starch can contain traces of gluten however foods containing wheat starch that are labelled gluten free are suitable for all people with coeliac disease.

What happens if I don’t get the desired effect?

The first thing to remember is CBD is not THC. It does not provide any psychoactive effects. The relaxing effect of CBD depends on many factors, including the amount consumed, the rate at which it is consumed, your body mass, and your metabolism. We would advise to take for a couple of days and increase your dose slowly.
